Welcome to
Tavan Music Academy
A private music-instruction academy located in Los Gatos, California
Learn to Play, Love to Play
Since 2014, our motto has been simple. We want to not only teach how to play music, but how to love the process of it as well. Through training, performances and a welcoming environment, our goal is for each student to learn to play their instrument AND love to play their instrument.

“The owners and instructors at Tavan have all the qualities you could ask for: knowledgeable, professional, accommodating, and best of all, nice!
My sons were beginning piano players, and they know everyone struggles at first. Never do they get frustrated with slow progress—they always encourage their students and motivate them to become better musicians. ”
“Tavan is an amazing, inspirational, exciting music academy. We have been going since they opened, even after moving from the area. Our kids would only go to Tavan, even if it means driving several miles to learn from their favorite instructors.
Tavan is a GEM of Los Gatos, and any parent who want their kids to enjoy music should try out Tavan.”
